The goal for this major condo remodel/addition was to create a space that would feel zen and a little New York Loft meets Rustic Countryside. We achieve that by using lots of natural materials like wood, brick, stone and neutral colors like brown grey and white. We took it down to the studs and converted the upstairs loft to a complete 2nd floor master bedroom with a huge walk-in closet. Having ample storage was very important to the owner so we opened up the drywall under the stairs and created a storage closet and super cute wine bar! Both new closets were absolutely essential since we moved the laundry from the kitchen to the hallway coat closet. We added beautiful exposed beams to the living room ceiling which are actually structural and support the new 2nd floor addition. At the end, the only thing  left that was original was the bathtub, the windows and the front door.
