When we got our hands on this house, everything was completely original Mid Century Modern (down to the green wall ovens and carpeting in the kitchen!) The owners wanted more beds and baths (originally it was a 3 bed 2 bath) so we designed a new floor plan that would not only provide a new master bedroom, but a walk-in closet and 2 additional bathrooms only using the existing footprint of the house. Not only did we deliver (providing a 4 bed 4 bathroom home), we accomplished this without having to build a costly addition AND we simultaneously created more open space and flow. Challenge accepted!
